IPC J-STD-001
Current revision: G

The IPC J-STD-001 Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies has emerged as the preeminent authority for electronics assembly manufacturing.

The standard describes materials, methods and verification criteria for producing high quality soldered interconnections. The standard emphasizes process control and sets industry-consensus requirements for a broad range of electronic products.

The course is modular and combines both theory and practical elements to provide students with the knowledge and skills to produce IPC acceptable solder connections.

We also offer te optional Space Addendum module, this Addendum supplements or replaces specifically identified requirements of IPC J-STD-001 by providing additional requirements to ensure the reliability of soldered electrical and electronic assemblies that must survive the vibration and thermal cyclic environments getting to and operating in space or the extreme environmental conditions experienced in military applications.
